Lillo the donkey and some goats welcome our little guests who will enjoy using the extensive green farm where our information billboards will help discover the local fauna and, in our pond, live carp and sturgeon.
Archery
In collaboration with “Arcieri dell’orsa Maggiore” and “04 Amis”, Cascina Riazzolo farm sustains the local tradition of hunting with archery widely practiced, in our territory, until the birth of the firearms. The “Arcieri dell’orsa Maggiore” and “04 Amis” are archery associations part of FIARC (Italian Federation Field Archers) who’s members train on the farm, in dedicated areas, even on fake animals. Electric bike excursions
No noise, no gas emissions and all the pleasure of a ecologically compatible ride along the farms trails on electrically powered motorcycles with advanced lithium technology batteries.
Instructional stops will take place during the ride to illustrate the points of particular environmental interest. The bikes are single speed (as a scooter) with the brakes on the handlebars. The rides must be booked with at least two days notice.
Hunting activities
Born as a natural continuation of the 100 year tradition – began in 1913 with the foundation of the game reserve wanted by Franco, eldest son of nobleman Carlo Alberto Pisani Dossi, the “Dossi” of Italian literature of the late 18th century – the farm holiday hunting ground “Pisani Dossi North” endeavours to maintain a natural environment that modern agriculture, and productivity, would otherwise sweep away.
